Letters

"I think the YES Home has helped me in various ways. They have helped me with my anger and my will to do things. They helped me through obstacles such as the way I look at life and the way I do my homework. They helped me use the knowledge that I thought I never had. The YES home was the best thing that ever happened to me. I found my lost mind. Thanks" - Tom

The above letter was written by a young man who came to us with minimal hope and self-esteem. It has been a joy watching him realize he is capable of many things. He brought all grades from F's to A's, B's, and C's. He participated in football and track this year which could not have happened with F's.

WHAT THE YES HOME MEANS TO ME

"Where should I start? For one, there are very caring people there, who have touched the lives of others and always will. The YES Home made me who I am today. It made me learn responsibility and respect for others. I have met a lot of wonderful people there. As I look back 18 years ago, I think about all the good times I had there. I was there a couple of years, but I would not change a thing.

Sometimes I think I was there for a reason. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think or talk about what wonderful people and a loving home that it brought to me as a person. I still stay in contact with several of the people who changed my life for the better. Thank You, you will not be forgotten." - Tammy

This young lady was a joy to work with, she was at YES in the late '80's. Tammy completed school, has a full-time job and is married. She has two children and is a great parent. We can see the values and character we helped build operating in her life. It is always a pleasure to get a phone call from her to see how we are doing and how she is doing.
